The most outrageous island resort you have ever set your eyes upon!
After winning his fortune in a Vegas-Style casino, the famous Dead or Alive rebel, Zack, invests his money into an exotic tropical island, which he names after himself... Zack Island.
After purchasing the island, Zack transforms the tropical paradise into an exotic playground for him and his guests.  His dream is to create an adult paradise with a variety of activities to entertain his guests during the day and into the night.
Zack declares the island the official location of the fourth Dead or Alive tournament.  When the invitations are sent and people start arriving, everyone realizes that only women were invited to the island.  The ladies have been tricked but suck it up fast when they realize they are stuck on a beautiful tropical island to have fun in the sun playing beach volleyball.
Beach Volleyball is not the only thing to do on the island.
Hotel:
After a tiring dayof beach volleyball the DOA girls like to kick back at The Zack Island Hotel for some rest and relaxation.  The luxurious five-star resort offers everything a tired girl would want from poolside lounging to beautifully decorated rooms.
When you are in the mood to stay in instead of going to the casino the resort also offers a movie theatre, where you will be able to unlock a number of cinematic treats including a Ninja Gaiden movie and never before seen DOA & DOA2 footage!
Radio:
DJ Zack in the House!!!!! The Zack Attack is back bringing you the best Sand and Surf tunes here on Zack Island!
DJ Zack is back and he has built his very own radio station on the island.  The station will broadcast licensed music from a sound track of 18 popular songs from various artists.  When you visit the radio station a menu will appear that lets you choose a song from the list.
You can also opt to listen to your own custom soundtrack.  DOAXBV supports user ripped soundtracks allowing youto copy your favorite music tracks from your CDs to play them back in the game.  It is time to get your groove on here at Zack Island!
Shops:
Girls love to shop and the DOA girls are no different!  On days when they are not sweating it up on the volleyball court you can find the girls perusing the local sports and accessory shops looking for the latest gear!  With the points earned through victorious volleyball matches comes spending money, the more points you earn while working up a sweat gives you more money to spend off the court.
The player can spend their money in two different ways.  You can choose to spend it on yourself to customize your character or buy items and wrap it up as a gift for other non-player characters such as your partner to strengthen your relationship on and off the court.  This is not as easy as it sounds.  If your partner does not like what you have given her she will not play as well next time around.  For example if you buy your character sunscreenand she wanted to get a tan you could be in the doghouse for weeks!  You have to make sure you get to know your teammate; a good relationship with your partner is key to winning the game!
You have three shops to choose from.  The Sports Shop is where you will be able to buy the latest costumes from sexy swim attire to the coolest volleyball duds!  After you have your costume in place it's time to visit the accessory shop where you can spice up any costume with everything from Straw Hats to Cat Ears!
For other assorted items used in the game, take a stroll through Zack of all Trades where you can find anything and everything from Lobster Tails to Teddy Bears!
The Casino:
When the day is done the fun has just begun as the Zack Island casino opens it's doors to the DOA girls for a night of gambling amongst other sinful activities.
Since Zack was able to buy the island after making a killing in a Vegas-Style casino it is only natural that he would pay tribute by building a casino on the island!  The fully-operating casino will feature a number of classic gambling games including Blackjack, Roulette, Poker and of course slot machines!  The money the girls earn on the court will enable them to gamble the night away at the casino.
Make sure you keep a close eye on how much money you have gambled away.  Without any dough you won't be able to buy gifts for your Volleyball partner, which will lead to a weak team.  The more presents you buy your partner the stronger your relationship will be.  So make sure when your luck runs out that you know when to quit!
Courtside:
Although there are a variety of activities the lovely ladies can partake in on Zack Island, they know all the action is on the court where the girls can play some arousing games of beach volleyball.  During the day Helena, Hitomi, Lisa, and the rest of the girls will set, spike and kill their way to victory over the other team.  The infinite number of moves and combos are so extreme that it will be rare to see your character do the same thing twice.  The game looks and feels so real that you can almost feel the sand in-between your toes and the ocean air whipping through your hair.
Zack Island is a volleyball paradise featuring 4 different courts for the girls to play on.  What court you play on depends on the time of day and how many points you have earned in previous games.  The game lets you compete in two different modes, the Go to Island mode or the Exhibition mode where you can compete against the computer or a friend.  The more points you earn on the court, the more money you will have to spend on other activities in the game such as customizing your character, buying gifts for your partner, and gambling at the island casino.
